Holiday shopping is upon us and shopping for kids keeps getting harder and harder. Seems my kids flip flop on what they do and don’t like all the time. I tried doing that “shop throughout the year” thing before. Yeah, not so much. By the time Christmas came around my kids didn’t like Toy A anymore. I left bad, they left bad, it was a big mess. I wait, I watch and I watch the ads for the hottest toys that are out.
One favorite that never ever gets old is Littlest Pet Shop. We have bins and bins of pets and their accessories and to this day I hear my kids playing with them, even my son (sorry you won’t find any “boy” and “girl” toy lists here. Kids can play with whatever they want). That’s why I was especially excited to partner with Hasbro’s Littlest Pet Shop for this sponsored post to share with you a couple of the newest playsets from Littlest Pet Shop Downtown City. I’m going to walk you through these new holiday toys from Littlest Pet Shop so read on to find out more and where to get them for your kids just in time for Christmas.
I strongly believe the more hands-on play kids get, the better. Little Pet Shop toys let’s kids use their imagination and create little worlds. I love that. My kids change their voices for each character, create story lines, and have FUN! Can’t get much better than that.
Littlest Pet Shop Pet Shop Playset is the bigger of the two sets. This set is great if you have a few pets or more!
It can hold up to about 30 pets with all of the activities and peg stands. There’s a 2 story tree slide, paw-shaped swing, spinning hamster ball and much more. Seriously, this is the ULTIMATE hangout for pets. The Littlest Pet Shop Pet Shop Playset has a suggested retail price of $29.99, and both playsets are recommended for children ages 4 and up.
The playset comes with 1 pet, 2 friends, and countless accessories and stickers. The creative play with this set with have your kids busy for hours. Trust me. Throw in some laundry and make dinner and they’ll still be playing and laughing in the other room. Thankfully, we have a lot of pet friends so I never hear arguing over who gets what.
If you want more pets than what comes in the Littlest Pet Shop Pet Shop Playset, you can grab individual packs of pets. They are about $2.99 and you get 1 pet and fun accessories. Keep an eye out for 40 unique pets this year, including a Labrador and Puffin in the Spring and a Jack Russell Terrier in the Fall. Each pet includes bobble-head motion and either a Deco Bits piece or accessory to inspire unique stories. One pet in each wave also includes a special deco treatment to look for and collect. PURRR-fect price and size for stocking stuffers if you ask me.
Next up, we have the Littlest Pet Shop Pawristas Café Playset. And really, let’s just stop there because the name alone is just way too cute.
Even though this playset is smaller I think my kids love it the most. Your kids are the baristas at this Pawristas Cafe so get your order ready. Serving up fun drinks and making up names for each type. I, of course, had to take tiny sips every time a cup was handed to me. It’s only proper, you know.
There’s a tall cat tree for kitties to hang out and drink their favorite lattes, multiple levels where pets can relax, plus a couch to lounge on, a to-go ordering window, and even a mic for the pets to perform. You never know what could happen in the most happening cafe in town. Just look at the chunky cat with the adorable thought bubble. You can change out his “thoughts” by switching out the deco pieces and popping a new one in. SUPER cute.
This playset comes with one pet, one pet friend, themed accessories, Deco Bits, and thought bubble with sticker sheet perfect for endless stories! The Littlest Pet Shop Pawristas Café playset has a suggested retail price of $19.99. A great price for endless fun, for sure.
I love listening to my kids play (especially when they are being nice to each other) and Littlest Pet Shop is definitely one of those toys that will get everyone involved, including myself.
